Champagne Pascal Lallement

The Pascal Lallement’s House : One Family, One Profession, one Art The Lallement house is located in the heart of the village of Chamery. The Familiy has been working the vines for 4 generations.

History

The Lallement house is located in the heart of the village of Chamery. The Familiy has been working the vines for 4 generations.

Our vineyard, ideally located between Reims and Epernay, is located on the mountain of Reims. Our slopes, classified in 1st cru, benefit from ideal sunshine which gives our vintages their quality and consistency.

Constance is also the first name of the very last winemaker in the line, daughter of Pascal, current winemaker of the house. He passes on all his know-how and expertise to her. Now working full-time alongside her father, Constance brings her feminine touch and sensitivity to the estate.

The picturesque Chamery’s Village

Classified “4 flowers” on the flowered villages route, Chamery is located 10 km south-west of Reims. Its 57-meterhigh bell tower is the highest rural bell tower in the Marne. Its vineyard covers 180 ha, classified 1er Cru and its subsoil is made of chalk. As for its location on the hillside, it allows it to benefit from optimal exposure for the maturity of the grapes.

One Vineyard, High Environmental Value Classified

The house operates its vines with respect for the environment and has benefited since 2015 from the HVE * label (High Environmental Value). We use auxiliary methods which limit phytosanitary needs and therefore pollution. We favor working the soil, sodding and reasoned viticulture, as well as the use of products that respect people and the earth. Planting hedges and trees is also another of the methods we favor to promote biodiversity.

*High environmental value is the third highest level of certification of its kind, awarded by the Ministry of Agriculture. Certification makes it possible to certify, with the support of an audit, that the operator respects the ecosystem where he cultivates his land, promotes biodiversity, preserves Fauna and Flora, participates in the conversion of landscapes and minimizes its impact on the environment.

The house also offers its visitors the opportunity to visit the vineyards aboard a Little Tourist Train, to discover the work of the Winegrowers and the view of the Champagne hillsides
